Protesters in Canada also smashed a statue of the first prime minister.
During a protest rally in Montreal, Canada, protesters tore down a statue of the country’s first prime minister, Sir John MacDonald, detonating the statue’s head.

The incident happened on Saturday as protesters were returning to the end of a peace march when some people climbed on the monument and tore down the statue, while a video of the incident went viral on social media, in 1867 by Sergeant MacDonald. Became Canada’s first Prime Minister.
